Bryan Johnson Shares His Extreme 17-Step Morning Routine to ‘Live Forever’

Bryan Johnson, self-described biohacker and tech entrepreneur, has revealed the rigorously detailed morning routine he hopes will help him achieve longevity and potentially “live forever.” Far from the casual morning rituals many follow, Johnson’s protocol begins at 4:30 a.m. sharp, with no snooze buttons allowed.

He starts by measuring body composition—fat, muscle, bone, and water—followed by applying custom hair treatments and using a red light cap to monitor hair health. Next comes light therapy to simulate natural sunlight, helping regulate his circadian rhythm.

Johnson then checks his inner ear temperature as a precise health marker, drinks purified water infused with essential supplements like antioxidants, ashwagandha, and rhodiola, and consumes a breakfast rich in berries, protein, olive oil, and collagen.

He monitors air quality with advanced sensors before undergoing a battery of tests including a morning blood draw to assess aging biomarkers. A substantial workout follows, succeeded by sauna sessions with ice packs, infrared therapy, and shockwave treatment for joint health.

The routine culminates in hyperbaric oxygen therapy — saturating his body in pure oxygen — thought to accelerate healing and enhance vascular function. Johnson finally eats a super-vegetable lunch and concludes the morning at 11:30 a.m. before heading into the rest of his day.

Though extreme, Johnson’s regimen reflects a scientific and data-driven approach to health optimization and longevity.
