Boss Encourages Staff to Take Masturbation Breaks to Relieve Stress

Masturbating at work is usually a taboo topic, but Erika Lust, a porn director from Barcelona, Spain, has taken a different approach. She runs an adult entertainment business and offers her employees an optional 30-minute “masturbation break” to help them manage stress.

Erika believes that self-pleasure can reduce anxiety, improve sleep quality, and help people connect with their bodies and desires. In an interview, she explained how masturbation can be a healthy way to relieve tension and boost mental well-being.

While many would find the idea shocking, surveys show it’s more common than you might think. One study found that nearly 40 percent of people have masturbated while at work. This has sparked lively conversations online, with people expressing very different views.

Some strongly oppose the idea, saying the workplace isn’t the right place for such activities. Comments from Reddit include statements like, “It can wait until I’m home,” and “You’re paid to work, not to masturbate.”

Others are more relaxed, with some admitting to having done it at work for fun or stress relief. But many also shared feelings of regret or embarrassment afterward, saying they wouldn’t do it again.

The debate shows that while workplace masturbation is controversial, it raises interesting questions about stress, privacy, and what people might need during their working day.
