Tina Hines, an Arizona woman, faced a life-changing moment on February 12, 2018, when she collapsed from a severe heart attack. Her husband Brian immediately began CPR, and paramedics arrived to continue resuscitation efforts. Despite multiple times flatlining, Tina was without a pulse and clinically dead for a total of 27 minutes before finally being stabilized.
What astounded everyone was what happened after she woke. Barely conscious, Tina asked for a pen and paper and scribbled two simple words: “It’s real.” When asked what she meant, she gestured upward, indicating a vivid encounter beyond this life.
Tina described her near-death experience as incredibly peaceful and clear. She said the colors she saw were vibrant and that she felt an overwhelming sense of calm. She believed she saw Jesus standing with arms open wide, surrounded by a glowing, beautiful light. Her husband recalled the emotional moment as she wrote the mysterious message, shaking and focused.
This experience led Tina to write a book, Heaven… It’s Real: How Dying Changes Living, sharing her story with the world. Though science continues to explore what happens during death, such accounts inspire many to believe death is not the end.
