Private Investigator Reveals the Telltale Sentence That Indicates Your Partner Is Cheating

Ali Marsh, a private investigator with over a decade of experience, knows more about spotting cheaters than most people do. While many suspect their partner might be unfaithful, they often search for complicated ways to find proof—tracking phones, reading messages, or even using GPS trackers. However, Marsh says there’s a simpler way to tell if someone is cheating, and it’s all about what they say.

Speaking to the Daily Telegraph, Marsh explained that when a partner develops feelings for someone else—especially at work—they tend to mention that person more than usual. Even if they can’t openly talk about them, they might drop little hints like, “So and so did this today,” almost as if they want to talk about the person but are holding back.

This applies not just to work affairs but other secret relationships too. The emotional and social changes in someone cheating become noticeable when they start to distance themselves or their behavior doesn’t match the commitment they had before.

Therapist Elena Touroni agrees, pointing out that people who cheat once may do it again. She notes that cheaters often fear full commitment and might act differently under pressure.

Marsh also sees clues in inconsistent stories or behavior that doesn’t seem to add up. If one partner remains invested but the other’s actions don’t reflect the same level of commitment, it often signals something is wrong.

She notes that underlying reasons like low self-esteem or feeling neglected may lead someone to cheat. The key is to watch for changes in speech and behavior, as cheaters often can’t hide the truth in what they say, even if they try.

If you suspect your partner is cheating, paying attention to these subtle signs in conversation might be as revealing as any high-tech investigation.
