Donald Trump’s White House Hat Collection Features ‘Trump 2028’ Slogan, Raising Concerns

Donald Trump’s love for his signature MAGA hats is well known, but recent photos from the White House reveal a collection that’s causing quite a stir. During a visit from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and other European leaders, Trump showed off an impressive array of hats, including one with a troubling detail: the slogan “Trump 2028.”

The room, once a private study famously associated with Bill Clinton, is now a showcase for Trump’s merchandise, including his golden “Never Surrender” sneakers and luxury ties. Trump has been generous in offering items to guests, famously telling aides to “grab what you want” during tours.

The varied hat collection has grown since Trump’s 2024 return to the presidency, with colors and slogans beyond the original red “Make America Great Again” hats. Even Elon Musk tried on several, including a “Dark MAGA” version.

What raised eyebrows was the presence of hats promoting “Trump 2028,” hinting at a possible third presidential run. Such a run would clash with the 22nd Amendment, which limits presidents to two terms.

The sight sparked debate online, with many questioning how Trump could legally serve again. Some worry that a family member like Ivanka could be positioned as a successor.

Although he hasn’t officially announced another campaign, Trump left the door open in a March 2025 interview, saying many people wanted him to run again but it was too early to decide.

Former White House strategist Steve Bannon predicted Trump would return by 2029, claiming there are strategies underway to make it happen despite legal limits.

“Trump 2028” merchandise and slogans like “Rewrite the Rules” hint at efforts to rethink constitutional term limits, first introduced after FDR’s four terms.

During Zelenskyy’s visit, Trump noted Ukraine couldn’t hold elections due to war, leading some to speculate if he might exploit emergency situations to extend his term—though most agree such an event would be extreme.

Whether the idea is realistic or alarmist, talk of “Trump 2028” continues to grow, fueling debate about the future of American politics.
