John Goodman Suffers Hip Injury, Filming Delayed

Iconic actor John Goodman, 72, suffered a fall during rehearsals for his upcoming film “Judy” with Tom Cruise, leading to hospitalization and a temporary pause in production at Pinewood Studios.

The film, directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu, features Cruise as a heroic figure and is expected in theaters in late 2026. Goodman’s fall was not stunt-related; medical details remain private but recovery is promising.

Goodman has a history of health battles including mental health challenges and addiction. With help from his wife and trainer Mackie Shilstone, he has transformed his lifestyle, shedding over 100 pounds and adopting a healthy Mediterranean diet and regular exercise.
