From Hollywood to Marrakech: The Unlikely Journey of Linda Kozlowski

In the 1980s, Linda Kozlowski was the epitome of Hollywood glamour, thanks to her breakout role as Sue Charlton in the blockbuster film “Crocodile Dundee.” However, after a string of successful films and a high-profile marriage to co-star Paul Hogan, Kozlowski made the unexpected decision to step away from the spotlight.

Born in Connecticut in 1958, Kozlowski’s passion for acting led her to study at the prestigious Juilliard School. After graduating, she began her career on the off-Broadway stage, eventually transitioning to television and film. Her early roles included a television movie adaptation of “Death of a Salesman,” where she shared the screen with Dustin Hoffman.

Kozlowski’s big break came when Hoffman recommended her for the role of Sue Charlton in “Crocodile Dundee.” The film’s massive success catapulted her to stardom, but Kozlowski soon found herself disillusioned with the Hollywood machine. She turned down roles that typecast her as the girlfriend of a comic actor, and eventually, she decided to leave acting behind.

In her personal life, Kozlowski found love with Paul Hogan, and the couple had a son, Chance, in 1998. However, their marriage ended in divorce in 2014. Following the split, Kozlowski received a substantial settlement and began to explore new horizons.

It was during a trip to Morocco that Kozlowski met Moulay Hafid Baba, a local tour guide. The two formed a deep connection, and Kozlowski soon found herself drawn to the country’s vibrant culture and breathtaking landscapes. Together, they established Dream My Destiny, a luxury travel agency based in Marrakech.

Today, at 63 years old, Kozlowski has traded in her Hollywood glamour for a more laid-back, adventurous lifestyle. She finds joy in creating personalized travel experiences for her clients, using the intuition and creativity she honed during her acting career. As she navigates the bustling streets of Marrakech, Kozlowski is a far cry from the Hollywood starlet of the 1980s, but she’s never been happier.
