Diana and her fellow flight attendants were enjoying a rare break between flights at a bustling airport café. As they sipped their coffee and shared stories about their most memorable passengers, their laughter filled the air.
The conversation turned to their most ridiculous or rude passenger experiences, with each attendant trying to outdo the others. Diana shared a story about a passenger who had argued with her about how to use a seatbelt, even going so far as to call her “sweetheart.”
Just as they were laughing about another story, Diana noticed a man sitting alone at a nearby table. He was watching them with a smug grin, his arms crossed and his gaze locked on their group. Something about the way he was watching them felt off.
As Diana turned back to her conversation, she accidentally spilled coffee all over the man’s shirt and pants. Mortified, she rushed to apologize and offer to buy him a new cup of coffee.
But as she looked up at the man’s face, she was shocked to see a familiar name tag: “Captain Smith.” The man she had just spilled coffee all over was the pilot of their next flight.
