Martha sipped her coffee, frowning.
“I ran into Evelyn at the store today, and she totally ignored me. I have no idea why she’s upset.”
Her friend Joyce raised an eyebrow. “Could it be because of, you know… the incident?”
Martha gasped. “That is so unfair! I can absolutely keep secrets.”
Joyce smirked. “Really?”
“Yes!” Martha huffed. “It’s the people I tell them to who can’t.”
Two friends were catching up after work.
“My doctor says I need to make healthier choices,” one of them sighed.
His friend chuckled. “Are you actually going to listen?”
“Of course!” he said confidently. “From now on, I only eat at fast food places that don’t have a drive-thru.”
His friend frowned. “How is that healthier?”
“Well, I have to get out of my car and walk inside, don’t I?”
