Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is under fire after making comments about former President Donald Trump attending the Super Bowl. The Chiefs are set to face the Philadelphia Eagles in New Orleans this Sunday, and Trump’s announcement that he’ll be at the game has sparked a wave of controversy.
During a press conference, Kelce was asked about Trump’s attendance and responded with enthusiasm. “That’s awesome,” he said. “It’s a great honor, no matter who the president is. It’s the biggest game of my life, and having the president there would be pretty cool.”

He took to social media to express his disdain for Swift, even suggesting that her career would suffer as a result of her political stance.
Swifties were quick to call out Kelce for his remarks, with some accusing him of being “spineless” for not standing up for his girlfriend. Others, however, defended Kelce, suggesting that his comments were likely a strategic move to avoid alienating the Chiefs’ ownership, who are known Trump supporters.
