The Classroom Moment That Went From Awkward to Hilarious

A sixth-grade science class took an unexpected turn when the teacher, Mrs. Parks, asked what seemed like a risky question: “Which human body part grows ten times its size when stimulated?”

Mary, one of the students, was scandalized. “You can’t ask us that!” she said. “I’m reporting you!”

Mrs. Parks simply repeated the question. Mary gasped, whispering to her classmates, “She’s really asking for it!”

After an awkward silence, Billy finally answered, “The pupil. It dilates in the dark.”

“Exactly,” Mrs. Parks said. Then, turning to Mary, she added, “Next time, think before you assume. And maybe do your homework.”

The class erupted in laughter, and Mary turned beet red. What started as an awkward moment turned into a hilarious—and unforgettable—lesson.
