“Restaurant’s Secret Recipe: Health Inspectors Find Street Pigeons on Menu”

A Chinese restaurant in Madrid has been closed indefinitely after health officials uncovered its disturbing secret – the “roast duck” being served was actually street pigeons. The Jin Gu restaurant in Usera district came under scrutiny following neighborhood complaints about strange activities and unpleasant odors.

During a surprise inspection, authorities made several shocking discoveries. The kitchen was infested with cockroaches and featured makeshift food drying lines. Rat traps baited with meat were strategically placed throughout the premises. But the most alarming find was a hidden storage area containing 300 kilograms of spoiled food in corroded freezers.

Locals expressed little surprise at the closure, with many admitting they’d avoided the restaurant due to its questionable hygiene standards. “The smell was always terrible,” one neighbor commented, “and we often saw food deliveries sitting outside for hours.”

The restaurant owner now faces serious legal consequences for multiple health code violations and fraudulent menu practices. The case has prompted calls for stricter restaurant inspections across Madrid’s dining establishments.
