The Dangers of Asking Too Many Questions

Every couple has those moments where curiosity gets the best of them. Whether it’s wondering about past relationships or hypothetical scenarios, some questions can lead to unexpected—and often funny—outcomes.

Take this joke, for example. A newly married couple is lying in bed when the husband decides to ask his wife a risky question: “So, how many men have you been with?” His wife doesn’t respond right away. Instead, she stares blankly at the ceiling, deep in concentration.

Thinking he’s made her uncomfortable, the husband quickly tries to reassure her. “It’s okay, you don’t have to answer if you don’t want to.” But she still doesn’t say a word. He pulls her into a hug and kisses her gently, hoping to lighten the mood.

Finally, his wife turns to him with an exasperated sigh. “Ugh, great,” she says. “Now I’ve lost track because of you!”

The joke’s clever twist turns a potentially awkward moment into a hilarious one, reminding us that some questions might be better off left alone—or at least asked with a sense of humor!
