The Karma of Abandonment

Bob, a self-centered man, lived life on his terms, disregarding others’ feelings. He married wealthy Adele, abandoning his fiancée. For thirty years, they lived luxuriously, until Adele’s passing.

Adele’s son, Sam, inherited her estate. Bob, expecting loyalty, was shocked when Sam abandoned him by the roadside. “You lived off her for thirty years, that’s long enough,” Sam said.

Left with nothing, Bob struggled to flag down passing cars. Just as hope faded, a luxurious car stopped. Jake Kale, a kind stranger, offered help.

At Jake’s cozy home, Bob met his wife Angela and daughter Faye. Jake’s mother, Peggy, arrived, and her eyes widened in shock. “Bob…It’s you!”

Peggy revealed a decades-old secret: Jake was Bob’s son, conceived before he abandoned her. Bob realized his selfish ways had raised a selfish stepson, while Peggy nurtured kindness.

With Jake’s help, Bob lodged a complaint against Sam and received half of Adele’s estate. Overcome with remorse, Bob signed it over to Jake and his granddaughter, seeking forgiveness.

Bob’s journey taught him karma’s power. His selfish choices led to abandonment, while Peggy’s kindness raised a compassionate son.
