New Details Emerge in the Tragic Drowning of Emilie Kiser’s Son

On May 12, three-year-old Trigg Kiser tragically fell into the backyard pool of his home in Arizona while playing under the watch of his father, Brady. Emilie Kiser, a popular TikTok influencer, was out with friends at the time. Though Trigg had taken swimming lessons, he did not fully know how to swim. According to reports and surveillance footage, Trigg tripped and accidentally fell into the pool while playing near an inflatable chair.

Brady, who was also caring for their newborn son Theodore, admitted he lost sight of Trigg for about three to five minutes. However, video evidence showed the boy was unsupervised in the backyard for over nine minutes and spent roughly seven minutes in the water before being discovered. Paramedics performed CPR and rushed him to Chandler Regional Hospital, followed by Phoenix Children’s Hospital, where Trigg sadly passed away six days later.

Initially, police recommended child abuse charges against Brady due to alleged negligence, citing his failure to supervise Trigg near the unsecured pool. However, these charges were dropped two weeks ago by the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, which said there was no reasonable likelihood of conviction.

Emilie Kiser also won a legal battle to keep certain details of the police report private, arguing that public access to graphic sections could cause her family further harm. A judge agreed, allowing selective redactions while preserving transparency about the case. Emilie’s attorney emphasized that this does not change the facts but protects the dignity of Trigg’s memory.
