Israel Faces New Threat as Hezbollah Strikes Netanyahu’s Residence

Amid escalating conflict, Israel has launched a major campaign against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon following months of tension around Gaza. Despite significant Israeli airstrikes targeting Hezbollah’s leadership and infrastructure, the militant group has shown resilience, striking back with deadly precision.

One of the most alarming incidents was a drone strike hitting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence in Caesarea. Although Netanyahu and his family were not present during the attack, the drone caused notable damage. This act highlighted Hezbollah’s ability to operate deep inside Israeli territory even under pressure.

Israel’s strikes have targeted senior Hezbollah leaders and critical facilities, aiming to dismantle command structures and logistics. However, Hezbollah’s decentralized and mobile tactics—including underground tunnels and quick relocation of launch sites—make a decisive blow difficult.

The humanitarian cost has been extensive, with millions displaced and communities devastated. As the conflict deepens, it remains unclear whether military action alone will resolve the fragile and volatile situation in the region.
