The wife of Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, the only survivor of the Air India Flight 171 crash, has revealed emotional details about his recovery three months after the tragic disaster that claimed 260 lives. The crash occurred just 32 seconds after the plane took off from Ahmedabad, India.
Vishwash, who was seated near an emergency exit, is still receiving treatment in India and grieving the loss of his brother Ajay, who died in the crash. His wife Hiral and their young son have returned to the UK to resume normal life, though the boy misses his father deeply.
Relatives say Vishwash may never return to the UK due to trauma and fear of flying again. The investigation attributes the crash to engine fuel cut-off switches being toggled just after takeoff. Authorities caution against premature conclusions as the inquiry continues.
