Melania Trump Surprised by Child’s Question During Outing with Kate Middleton

During their recent UK visit, Melania Trump and Kate Middleton shared a special day at Frogmore Gardens with young Scouts from the Squirrels program. The First Lady and the Princess of Wales joined children aged 4 to 6 as they worked on nature-inspired art projects. Melania, who helped the kids press inked leaves and add illustrations, expressed how beautiful the creations were.

Kate sat on the grass, chatting with the children, while a small girl grabbed Melania’s hand to show her the “bug hotels” the group was building. Melania admitted her favorite bug is a ladybug and asked the children to show her how to build the bug hotels.

The day included heartfelt moments, but Chief Scout Dwayne Fields shared a surprising question Melania received. A young Scout, knowing they were meeting a princess, asked Melania, “Are you the next princess?” This innocent question revealed how little the children understood the situation but added charm to the event.

Melania was praised for her genuine interaction, sitting with the children, making eye contact, asking questions, and showing warmth. She clearly connected with the kids, making the visit memorable for all.
