“The extended ‘C’ is believed to symbolise a smile,” Lau said. “This subconscious message may go unnoticed, but it creates a positive association with the brand in consumers’ minds.”

Coca-Cola’s rich history goes back to 1886 when pharmacist Dr. John Pemberton invented the drink. It quickly grew into a cultural phenomenon, serving an estimated 2.2 billion servings daily worldwide.
