Richard’s 80th birthday took an unexpected turn when he decided to surprise his daughter, Deidre. But her tearful reaction at the door left him worried.
“Dad, what are you doing here?” Deidre asked, her voice trembling.
“I came to celebrate with you!” Richard replied, his joy fading as he noticed her tears. “What’s wrong?”

Deidre owed $80,000, and Richard offered his savings, but it wasn’t enough. To save her, he agreed to smuggle a car across the border. The plan failed when police dogs detected the car, leading to a chase that ended with the car sinking in a river.
Richard barely escaped and mortgaged his house to pay off the debt. When he returned to the bar, Deidre joined him, refusing to let him face the danger alone. As Mr. Marco threatened them, police arrived, rescuing them just in time.
Afterward, Deidre apologized, and Richard reassured her, saying, “You’re not a failure. I just wish you’d trusted me sooner.” They hugged, grateful to be safe and together.
