As the lights went out, a husband affectionately began caressing his wife’s arm, only to be gently rebuffed. “Not tonight, dear,” she whispered. “I’ve got that important doctor’s appointment in the morning.”
Respecting her wishes, he turned away. But after lying quietly for several minutes, he suddenly had an idea. Rolling back toward his wife with a playful grin, he murmured, “Tell me sweetheart… by any chance is your dentist expecting you tomorrow as well?”
