June Lockhart: A Timeless Icon at 98

June Lockhart’s illustrious career spans nine decades, captivating audiences with iconic roles. Best known as Timmy’s loving mother, Ruth Martin, in “Lassie” (1958-1964), she also starred as Dr. Maureen Robinson in “Lost in Space” (1965-1968).

Lockhart’s extensive filmography includes “Bewitched,” “Petticoat Junction,” “Magnum, P.I.,” “Step by Step,” and “Beverly Hills, 90210.” Her stage presence earned a 1948 Tony Award for “For Love or Money.”

A NASA supporter since the 1970s, Lockhart received the Exceptional Public Achievement Medal in 2013. Her personal life includes two marriages and two children, including actress Anne Lockhart.
