Hollywood Legend Robert Redford Dies Aged 89

Robert Redford, the iconic actor, Oscar-winning director, and environmental activist, has passed away at the age of 89. His publicist, Cindi Berger, confirmed that Redford died peacefully at his home in the mountains of Utah—a place he loved deeply—surrounded by his family.

Redford rose to fame in the 1960s and 70s with memorable roles in classics like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and All the President’s Men. He later established himself as a celebrated director, winning an Oscar for Ordinary People and earning critical acclaim for films such as A River Runs Through It.
