Actor and professional photographer Brad Everett Young has tragically passed away at the age of 46 following a head-on collision on a Los Angeles freeway. The incident occurred late on Sunday, September 14, as Young was driving alone on the 134 Freeway after attending a movie screening.
According to his publicist Paul Christensen, Young’s vehicle was struck by another car traveling the wrong way, leading to fatal injuries. The other driver was transported to a hospital and survived. Young was pronounced dead at the scene.

Young was well-known in Hollywood circles, balancing both acting and photography careers. His television appearances included memorable roles and guest spots on Grey’s Anatomy, Boy Meets World, Charmed, and Beverly Hills, 90210. While his acting career began in 1999, he found a second passion behind the camera photographing stars such as Sarah Michelle Gellar, David Harbour, and Seth Green.
Renowned for capturing the glamour and genuine moments at premieres, red carpets, and industry events, Brad’s work was featured in prestigious publications like Vanity Fair, Vogue, Elle, and People. He also dedicated himself to philanthropy, founding Dream Loud Official, a nonprofit focused on preserving arts and music education in schools.

Fellow actors from General Hospital, including Chris McKenna and Jen Lilley, publicly shared heartfelt tributes praising Brad’s warmth, humor, and commitment to the arts. His publicist emphasized that Brad’s legacy will live on through his contributions to both entertainment and arts education.
