White House Responds Sharply to Ariana Grande’s Instagram Criticism of Trump Supporters

Pop superstar Ariana Grande faced a pointed retort from the White House after reposting a fiercely critical message about President Donald Trump’s administration and his supporters. The message, originally by activist Matt Bernstein, questioned whether Trump voters felt their lives had improved after 250 days of his policies, highlighting issues such as immigration enforcement, the treatment of trans people, and free speech concerns.

Ariana’s Instagram repost sparked widespread attention. White House deputy press secretary Kush Desai fired back in a statement eloquently incorporating Ariana’s song titles, urging her to “save your tears” and praising Trump’s efforts to resolve the inflation crisis and boost investments. Desai also referenced Trump’s executive order enabling the FTC to act against Ticketmaster for ticket price inflation, a move favorable to Ariana’s fans.

This exchange follows a history of Ariana’s vocal criticism of Trump policies and her active support for Democratic candidates, marking another flare-up in the clash between celebrity voices and political figures.
