Trump Boosts Missile Production as Global Tensions Rise

President Donald Trump is accelerating the production of some of the US military’s most powerful missiles amid rising fears of war. Since returning to the White House, Trump has taken bold steps, including moving to rename the Department of Defense back to the Department of War, signaling a focus on offense as well as defense.

The Pentagon is urging missile manufacturers to double or even quadruple their production of critical weapons like Patriot interceptors, anti-ship missiles, and precision bombs. This rapid build-up is partly in response to dwindling stockpiles due to ongoing support for Ukraine and concerns about a potential conflict with China.
