The study noted that 95% of heterosexual men achieve orgasm during sex, compared to 65% of women. Factors influencing orgasm timing include age, alcohol consumption, and frequency of sex. Experts urge couples to focus on communication and pleasure rather than fixate on timing.
Sexual health nurse Sarah Mulindwa emphasized that technique, connection, and mutual satisfaction are far more important than the stopwatch. This study challenges many preconceived ideas and encourages a more relaxed, understanding approach to sexual intimacy.
