Freida took to Facebook with a heartfelt message, saying she spent the night praying for Dolly and asking the public to join her. “Many of you know she hasn’t been feeling her best lately,” Freida wrote. She emphasized her faith and confidence that Dolly would pull through with the support of fans worldwide.
Last month, Dolly shared that a kidney stone caused an infection severe enough to keep her from attending an event at her Dollywood theme park. Despite these setbacks, Dolly remains optimistic and continues to work on projects including a musical based on her life and a new children’s book.
