A faithful cat passed away and was greeted by God at heaven’s gates. “You’ve lived a good life,” God said. “What would make your stay here perfect?”
The cat didn’t hesitate. “I come from a humble home—no soft beds, just hard floors.”
God waved His hand, and a luxurious pillow appeared. “Rest easy now,” He said.
Days later, six mice arrived, and God made them the same offer. “We’re tired of running,” they said. “Roller skates would be a dream come true!”
In a flash, they were skating around joyfully.
When God checked on the cat later, he was napping soundly. “Enjoying heaven?” God asked.
The cat opened one eye and purred. “Absolutely. And those meals delivered right to me? Genius!”
