Many argued that larger passengers should pay for two seats if they can’t fit into one, comparing it to tall passengers buying extra legroom. Others, however, blamed airlines for shrinking seat sizes over the years to pack more people onto flights. “Everyone suffers from cramped seating, not just plus-sized travelers,” one person noted.
