Viewers quickly recognized the clip as one of Boyce’s moments playing Luke Ross on Disney’s Jessie, where his character spies on neighbors after breaking his leg. Fans were deeply moved by this subtle yet meaningful tribute, sharing emotional reactions online.

One fan wrote, “Adam included a little tribute to Cameron Boyce in Happy Gilmore 2. Excuse me while I cry.” Another said, “Seeing Cameron on TV in the background hits different.”

This tribute isn’t new for Sandler. In his 2020 film Hubie Halloween, originally meant to star Boyce, there was also a dedication to the young star reading: “In loving memory of CAMERON BOYCE.”

Cameron Boyce’s family remembers him as a bright light and loving soul. After his tragic death in 2019, they created the Cameron Boyce Foundation to help find a cure for epilepsy and keep his spirit alive.
