Even after stepping down amid criticism, former President Joe Biden claims he remains an influential figure behind the scenes. Speaking at the Society for Human Resource Management convention in San Diego, Biden revealed that several European leaders have reached out to him seeking counsel.
While he emphasized that he is not re-engaging politically, Biden said he continues to offer advice because “things are different.” He also mentioned that lawmakers from both parties consult him, not necessarily for answers but to bounce ideas off him.
