Triplets Overcome Harsh Childhood and Bullying to Graduate High School

Haley, Kassidy, and Sierra, triplets who arrived at Valley High School in Las Vegas struggling with school and social life, have completed an incredible journey to graduate. Initially defensive and withdrawn, with poor attendance and grades, they faced a difficult childhood filled with hardship.

Losing their mother at age three and having their father imprisoned during their middle school years, the triplets lived with a grandmother who was neglectful and did not prioritize education. They often went hungry and missed early schooling.

The introduction of the GEAR UP program at Valley High helped provide the emotional support and encouragement they needed. As they grew more comfortable, the girls revealed their harsh reality, motivating staff to offer guidance.

Despite being homeless and facing many obstacles, they maintained GPAs above 3.0, balanced advanced courses, school activities, and part-time jobs. Their resilience culminated in a heartfeltgraduation celebrated by the whole school. A local news team, FOX5 Surprise Squad, attended to honor their success and reveal a special surprise, recognizing their inspiring story of triumph against the odds.
