Amy traveled to Chiclayo after reports surfaced of Diego’s location in Máncora. After days of searching, she finally found him on September 25 and shared a video that quickly spread, helping authorities locate Diego. The Peruvian National Police took him into custody, providing food, shelter, and a chance to contact family.
