Trump Blasts TIME Magazine Over ‘Worst of All Time’ Cover Photo

President Donald Trump has publicly criticized TIME magazine for using what he calls the “worst photo of all time” on their latest cover celebrating the Gaza ceasefire deal he’s credited with helping to negotiate. The storm of criticism came after the magazine featured a low-angle photo of Trump wearing his signature navy suit and red tie, taken outside with the sun behind him.

Trump took to his social media platform Truth Social early Tuesday to voice his displeasure, saying, “Time Magazine wrote a relatively good story about me, but the picture may be the Worst of All Time.” He complained that the magazine “disappeared” his hair in the photo and remarked on a strange floating shape above his head, resembling a tiny crown.

He added, “Really weird! I never liked taking pictures from underneath angles, but this is a super bad picture, and deserves to be called out. What are they doing, and why?” Trump’s frustration reflects a long-standing complicated relationship with TIME magazine, where he has been both celebrated and criticized.

The cover story hailed Trump’s role in brokering the release of Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners under the ceasefire, calling the deal a potential “signature achievement” of his presidency. Despite the praise for the article itself, Trump’s main issue was with the unflattering image chosen.
