Rylan Clark and Rob Rinder’s Grand Tour Scores BAFTA Nod

From exploring Renaissance art in Florence to navigating Venice’s canals, Rob Rinder and Rylan Clark charmed viewers with their witty banter and unexpected bond in Rob & Rylan’s Grand Tour. Now, their BBC Two series has landed a BAFTA TV Award nomination—and neither of them saw it coming.

Rylan, 36, shared the exciting news on Instagram with a disbelieving caption: “I can’t believe I’m saying this… we’re nominated for a @bafta! Thank you all for watching.”

Rob, 46, responded with his signature eloquence, quoting Thomas Aquinas on the value of true friendship before adding, “You brilliant, kind soul—this is for both of us.”

The Good Morning Britain star also posted about the nomination, joking, “Rylan said we’d either get axed or win a BAFTA. Guess which way it’s going?”

Famous friends rushed to celebrate. Ruth Langsford called them “worthy winners,” while Susanna Reid praised the show’s “heart and humor.” Fans agreed, with comments like “More seasons, please!” flooding in.

The nomination comes ahead of Season 2, which will take the duo to India.

At the BAFTA TV Awards on May 11, they’ll compete against Race Across the World and Sort Your Life Out. But win or lose, Rob and Rylan have already proven their Grand Tour is must-watch TV.
